			During its visit to Israel, the delegation of the Euro-Asian Jewish  Congress took part in celebrating the 70th anniversary of a veteran of  the Jewish underground, famous refusenik, and community activist, a  pioneer of the organized repatriate movement from the countries of the  former USSR Yuli Kosharovski. The preparation for publication of the  fourth and final volume of Yuli Kosharovski's memoirs titled “We Were  Jews” was timed to the celebration in Beit-Aryeh.  |

			On November 5th, the Expert Council of the Black Sea Peacemaking Web  (BSPN) held a meeting in the Kyiv office of the Euro-Asian Jewish  Congress (EAJC). The topic of the meeting was “The Radical Right in  Post-Soviet Space.”  |

			The cofounders of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, the Jewish Congress of  Kazakhstan (headed by Alecander Mashekvich), Federation of Jewish  Organizations and Communities of Russia (VAAD Russia, headed by Michael  Chlenov), and the Association of Jewish Organizations and Communities of  Ukraine (VAAD Ukraine, headed by Josef Zisels) have finished their  interviews with potential candidates for the EAJC Presidency. The  leaders of the abovementioned organizations have univocally decided on  the candidacy of Vadim Shulman, who will be recommended for Presidenct  at the nearest EAJC General Council session.  |
