On December 22, a round table took place in Simferopol (the administrative center of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ukraine). The round table was titled “Processes of coordinating law enforcement, executive authorities, self-government bodies, and civil organizations in counteracting intolerance in Ukrainian society.”

New publications prepared by the Sepher Center for Scholars and Teachers of Jewish Studies in Universities are being published with Euro-Asian Jewish Congress support.

Nikolai Chistyakov's book “Memory of the Heart” has been presented in the Central Tourist House in Moscow. The book is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the mass act of heroism of the residents of the Circasse mountain village Besleney, who saved Jewish children during the Great Patriotic War. EAJC PR Department Head Roman Spector was invited to speak at the presentation.

The leadership and workers of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress congratulate the long-standing EAJC Financial Director, Executive Vice President of the Jewish Congress of Kazakhstan with being awarded one of Kazakhstan's high state awards – the Dostyk (“Friendship”) Medal. This medal is awarded for successful work in upholding mutual understanding in society, merits in strengthening peace, friendship, and cooperation between peoples.
