Alexander Mashkevich Recommends Vadim Shulman for EAJC President Post

                  04.11.2011

On October 31 – November 1, a meeting took place between Alexander Mashkevich, who had been the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) President from 2002 to 2011, and the EAJC General Council Chairman Josef Zisels. Alexander Mashkevich signed a letter of thanks to the participants of the Congress for 10 years of working together and making the EAJC one of the most active international structures of the Jewish world, well-known beyond its active region, and also signed a request for resignation connected to the necessity of developing his own business.

Alexander Mashkevich recommended Vadim Shulman as a candidate for his successor as the EAJC President.

The Presidium of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has decided to hold a session of the EAJC General Council in Jerusalem on November 24. Vadim Shulman is to be confirmed as Acting EAJC President.
