The Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Rabbi Council, Head Rabbi of Moscow Pinchas Goldschmidt has been confirmed to be the authorized representative of the World Jewish Congress (WJC) in relations with the Eastern Christian churches.

It is with great grief and a deep feeling of heavy lostt that the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) has learned of the death of the founder and perpetual head of the Eastern Ukrainian Affiliated Department of the International Solomon University (EUAD ISU), Dr. Boris Yelkin.

Alexander Mashkevich and Michael Mirilashvili are donating funds to create a special tractor brigade for the humanitarian volunteer organization ZAKA, a specialty vehicle brigade to fight fires in difficult terrain. 30 vehicles will be fully equipped with the most modern firefighting tools. On the 4th of January, they will be received by MIA Head Eliyahu Yishai .

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has organized the round table “Memory of the Past: Pain of the Present and a Look Into the Future” jointly with the the Synodal Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchy, the Moscow Jewish Religious Community, the Islam Center of Moscow, and the “Tolerance” Foundation for social projects. The round table took place on the 27th of December in the “Izvestiya” newspaper media center in Moscow.

Representatives of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) took part in a round table session titled “2011: Perspectives of Resolution of the Turkey-Kurd conflict” at the invitation of the International Union of Kurdish Public Associations.

A collection of articles titled ''Studia Anthropologica'' (edited by A. Fedorchuk, S. Chlenova, and O. Belova) has been published in honor of the jubilee of Michael Anatoliyevich Chlenov, a famous Russian anthropologist and EAJC Secretary General, by the ''Gesharim'' publishing house in the ''Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Library'' series.

A new Jewish structure, the Jewish Holiday Agency, was presented on the 20th of December in the Central House of Actors on Arbat Street, Moscow. Representatives of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) took part in the meeting.

The Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), Professor Michael Chlenov will take part in a round table on the problem of delegitimization of the State of Israel. The round table will take place in Jerusalem on December 19-21. under the aegis of the World Jewish Congress, the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, and the government of Israel.
