On March 17, the leaders of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) took part in a meeting of the enlarged World Jewish Congress (WJC) Executive Committee, which took place in Thessaloniki (Greece).

The EAJC expresses its deepest condolences to Marina Solodkina's family and friends, and grieves together with them.

On March 11, the delegation of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), comprised of the EAJC General Council Chairman Josef Zisels and the leader of the Ukrainian Union of Jewish Students Victoria Godik, visited Skopje at the invitation of the Jewish community of Macedonia to participate in the memorial events dedicated to the 70 years since the deportation of Macedonian Jews to the Treblinka extermination camp.

On March 10, the delegation of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), comprised of the EAJC General Council Chairman Josef Zissels and the leader of the Ukrainian Union of Jewish Students Victoria Godik, visited Sophia at the invitation of the Jewish community of Bulgaria and took part in the events commemorating the 70th anniversary of Bulgarian Jews being rescued from the imminent deportation to death camps during the Holocaust.

The leader of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress PR Department Roman Spector has participated in a Moscow event organized by the International Union of Kurdish Public Associations.

On March 1-3, the Chairman of the General Council of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Josef Zisels has read five lectures during the seminar “Steps to Establishing a Business: The Way of the Owner,” which had been organized by the Kharkiv Oblast' Jewish community for young businesspeople.

 

On March 5, the Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Michael Chlenov spoke at the memorial evening dedicated to the 60th year since the so-called “Doctor's Plot.” This memorial evening, organized by the Russian Jewish Congress, took place at the Memorial Synagogue on Poklonnaya Gora.

 

On March 4, the Russian Ministry of Foreign affairs hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bogdanov, the Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Michael Chlenov, and the Acting Secretary General of the World Jewish Congress Maram Stern.
