Tefft in honor of the visit of Rabbi andrew Baker,  the Director of International Jewish Affairs of the American Jewish  Committee and the Personal Representative of the OSCT  Chairperson-in-Office on Combating Anti-Semitism. |  |

			| EAJC General Council Chairman Participates in Memorial Events in Chisinau |

			| On April 6-7 of 1903, a terrible pogrom had taken place in Chisinau by  connivance of the state, accompanied by arson, robbery and mass murder  of Jews. The Jews, who had not received any support from neither the  government nor the police, had defended themselves fiercely and provoked  even more aggression. The resulting bloodbath took the lives of 50  people, and over 600 other residents of the city received wounds and  grievous bodily harm. Almost a third of the houses of the city were  damaged or destroyed. |  |

			| Exhibition on Rebirth of Russian Jewish Traditions Takes Place in Berlin |

			| In Berlin, a photo exhibition by Russian photographers opened at the  Friedrichstrasse Russian House of photos. The exhibition was titled  “Jews in Russia: A Rebirth of Traditions,” which was organized by the  Jewish National Foundation. The exhibition was prepared with the aid of  the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress PR Department. Before the exhibition  traveled to Germany, it had been opened in Moscow, Tel-Aviv and other  Russian and Israeli cities. |  |
