On April 25 to 28, the Ural-Volga Department of the Jewish Joint Distribution Committee held the “Metsuda” seminar for young Jewish leaders in Ekaterinburg. 35 people from Russia and Kazakhstan took part in the seminar.

EAJC General Council members gave lectures at the seminar. Mikhail Ostrach (Ekaterinburg) spoke about the current state of the Jewish community in Russia, and Igor Dakabarov held a class on the Shabbat.
