The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress statement concerning the terrorist attack in Jerusalem
18.11.2014, Region The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the brutal terrorist attack in Jerusalem. Barbarous attack on the synagogue worshipers in Har Nof metropolitan area is the next step in a series of terrorist attacks the Jewish state faced in recent months. Terrorists incited by the Hamas leaders shed blood of peaceful citizens again and again, and this relentless cruelty does not receive an adequate assessment of the world community.
EAJC wishes a speedy recovery to all suffered at the hands of Palestinian extremists.
EAJC supports the actions of the Israeli law enforcement authorities and hopes that deserved punishment will bear not only the direct perpetrators of terrorist acts, but also the inspirers of inhuman acts. EAJC convinced that the wave of terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians should be strongly suppressed by all available means.
EAJC calls upon the international community to refuse the support of Palestinian Authority's efforts of the recognition of its statehood and to delegitimize the State of Israel. The escalation of violence should not find any understanding, and the intention of a number of European countries to speed up the recognition of a Palestinian state at the moment - it's a way to justify terrorist actions and indirect incitement to continuing terror.
