The Russian Cultural Center in Budapest opened a photograph exhibition titled “We live here! Interethnic Moscow,” which was organized by the Jewish National Fund and the Russian Cultural Center with the informational support of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress PR Department. The opening of the exhibition was timed to Russian Day.

The exhibition consisted of 120 photographs presenting the life of different ethnicities, cultures, and religious traditions in the capital of Russia. Photographs devoted to the Moscow Jewish community took up a significant portion of the exhibition

Upon opening the exhibition, RCC Director Valeriy Platonov noted how important it is to preserve the lineage of the national and spiritual traditions of Russia's peoples, their development and propaganda.

Raphael Fainberg, the curator of the exhibition and the Director of the Jewish National Fund for the restoration of traditions stressed that a diversity of ethnicities and faiths enriches the city and makes it more beautiful and attractive, At the same time, a certain harmonization of relationships is needed in this polyethnic city, as well as the fostering of respect for national traditions and the distinctive character of ethnic representatives.

A concert took place after the opening ceremony, which had drawn a large crowd.
