David Harris and Josef Zisels meeting Arseniy Yatsenyuk

AJC Delegation Visits Kyiv
22.04.2014 On April 20-22, a delegation of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), headed by Executive Director David Harris, visited Kyiv. The AJC delegation was received by VAAD Ukraine and the Kyiv office of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, whose workers prepared and organized the meetings for the delegation.
On April 20, the delegation met with leaders of Jewish organizations and a group of businessmen.
On April 21, the AJC delegation met with the head of the Ukrainian Security Services Valentin Nalivaychenko and the SSU members responsible for counteracting xenophobia and extremism, as well as with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Lubkivsky. The AJC delegation also visited Maidan and the Heaven’s Hundred Memorial on that day. On April 21, David Harris met with Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk and the Ukrainian runner for President Petro Poroshenko.
On April 22, the AJC delegation met with Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman. VAAD Ukraine Chairman, EAJC General Council Chairman Josef Zisels also participated in the meetings.David Harris also held meetings with ambassadors of the USA and Germany.
