Natalia Schmidt has been appointed as the new EAJC Director General at the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Presidium session that took place as part of the World Jewish Congress Executive Committee meeting in Paris. Her candidature, put forward by Congress President Julius Meinl, was approved unanimously by the Presidium members.

Natalia Schmidt was born in Moscow. Graduated from the IT Department of the Russian State University for the Humanities (RSUH). Knows English and Hebrew. Has been working in the EAJC since 2002. She is currently the Executive Director of the EAJC Moscow Office.
