On December 30, 2013, Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) General Council members received a letter from EAJC President Vadim Shulman. In this letter, Vadim Shulman notifies the General Council members that, starting from January 1, 2014, it will be necessary for him to resign from EAJC presidency as he cannot fulfill the necessary duties due to his main job.

On Monday, January 13, the EAJC Presidium will examine Vadim Shulman’s application and make the necessary decision. The next EAJC General Assembly session is to be held on February 16-18, where all of the governing bodies of the Congress are to be re-elected.

The businessman Vadim Shulman had been elected EAJC President in June 2012.
