On November 28, 2012, Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) General Council Chairman Josef Zisels met with Participants of the Roots of Tolerance Camp Meet With Georgian Minister of Youth And Sports Affairs Levan Kipiani. The participants of the meetings discussed a possible broadening of the EAJC program “Roots of Tolerance” at the Southern Caucasus. Representatives of the Austrian Meinl Bank were also present.

The EAJC had signed a joint venture agreement with Meinl Bank on October 2, 2013. That same month, a special fund had been created to provide financial aid to Jewish communities and inter-community projects in Eurasia. In November, 2013, many communities received initial financial aid for their projects.
In 2014 the fund will likely support not just the Jewish communities, but a number of EAJC projects, particularly those aimed at fostering tolerance.
