Chanukah in Tbilisi
30.11.2013 On November 27, 2013, the delegation of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) headed by EAJC General Council Chairman Josef Zisels participated in the Chanukah celebration in Tbilisi, organized by the World Congress of Georgian Jews. They had been invited by EAJC Vice President Gabriel Mirilashvili.
Among those who particpated in the ceremony of lighting the first Chanukah candle, which took place in the Rustavi Theater Great Hall, were Georgian Prime Minister Irakliy Garibashvili and other government members, as well as many foreign guests.
