On November 5-7, the World Zionist Organization (WZO) held a meeting of its General Council in Jerusalem.

Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) representatives who are part of the WZO governing bodies had also been present: Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Secretary General Michael Chlenov, EAJC General Council Chairman Josef Zisels, Congress representative in Israel Haim Ben Yakov, and EAJC Moscow office head Natalia Schmidt.
