                  Preparation for International Children’s Camp Commences in Georgia

                  On July 1, the Chairman of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Josef Zisels held a number of meetings in Tbilisi as part of the preparation and implementation of the EAJC project “Roots of Tolerance - Caucasus - 2013.” At the meeting with the General Manager of the International Humanitarian Foundation of Patriarch of Georgia His Holiness Ilia II, Lasha Zhvania, Josef Zisels discussed possible EAJC partners in Georgia and Azerbaijan for this project.

                  Josef Zisels discussed a possible partnership in this project at a meeting with the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Georgia Levan Kipiani.

                  The “Roots of Tolerance - Caucasus - 2013” Project is to include two workshops for counselors and one international children’s camp “Roots of Tolerance” for children of a plethora of nationalities hailing from Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Ukraine.

                  The first phase of the workshops is to begin July 2, and is being led by coordinator of the Caucasus project Miroslav Greenberg.
