On June 23–25, Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) General Council Chairman Josef Zisels visited Israel. There he held working meetings with EAJC Vice Presidents Mark Shabad, Merab Elashvili, and Gabriel Mirilashvili, and discussed the state of events and work plan of the EAJC for the second half-year period of 2013.

On June 24, the EAJC GC Chairman met with the President of the World Jewish Congress (WJC) Ronald Lauder and the WJC Executive Vice President Robert Singer, answered their questions on the situation in the EAJC and the region as a whole, and discussed cooperation between the EAJC and the WJC.

On June 24, during a gala dinner organized by the World Congress of Georgian Jews in honor of the visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia to Israel, Josef Zisels held a short discussion with Bidzina Ivanishvili and informed the Prime Minister of EAJC Projects in Georgia.

On June 25, Josef Zisels met with one of the leaders of the World Confederation of General Zionists Rami Korenblum and discussed a number of possibilities for joint projects.
