On June 19, the Ukrainian film festival “Weeks of Jewish Cinema” ended in Chernivtsi. The festival took place with the financial support of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC).

Starting from June 9, cinemagoers in Kyiv, Odesa, Vinnitsa, and Chernivtsi could view the best recent Israeli cinema. The movies shown included: “Footnote,” “Good morning, Mr. Fidelman!”, “Hava Nagila,” “Fill the Void,” “The Flood.” The festival was organized by the Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine and the “Molodist” Cinema Festival (in Kyiv).
