A letter from New Zealand Jewish Council Executive Committee member Mike Nathan, who was part of the EAJC delegation at the Plenary Assembly of the World Jewish Congress (WJC) in Budapest.

The letter reads: “I had great pleasure in meeting you in Budapest. I thank you for including a representative of the New Zealand community into the delegation, thus allowing me to speak to the leadership of the World Jewish Congress. The meetings that were held and the exchange of information were extremely valuable, and will certainly strengthen our ties. I believe in solving shared problems together.

I propose that the EAJC choose a date for a meeting in Auckland. I am certain that we will be able to hold an interesting and fruitful meeting between our organization and the representatives of the Congress.

I would also like to thank you on behalf of the New Zealand Jewish Council for your support, which allowed us to implement our priorities.”
