On March 20, the Jewish women's organization Project Kesher, which is a part of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, and the city non-profit organization “The Makeevka Women's Union” held a round table on women's job placement titled “Improving Women's Competitiveness in the Job Market.”

Among those who took part in the work of the round table were representatives of government facilities and institutions, non-governmental organizations, business, the media, and college youth. The participants of the round table discussed practical aspects of supporting unemployed women and helping them find jobs. New models and technologies to help combat women's unemployment were introduced and an exchange of opinions and experience had also been held.

After the round table, a resolution had been adopted that included proposed solutions to women's employment problems, in particular – an increase in educational programs, meetings, and seminars which can be held by non-government organizations together with experts in economic and legal matters and with the support of employment centers.

On March 22-23, a meeting of the united Project Kesher Coordination Council took place in Kharkiv. Volunteers from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus participated in the meeting.
