The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has provided conceptual, organizational and financial support to the unique “Us and Them” project for the directors of city schools, leading educators and teachers, as well as members of city governments, aimed to acquaint the above-mentioned groups with the world of Russian-speaking Jewry, the culture and heritage of residents of the former Soviet Union, who currently live in Israel.

The EAJC Deputy Secretary General Haim Ben Yakov has participated in the opening ceremony and a round table in the project, which has begun in Tel-Aviv.

Among those who took part in the implementation of the project were the Holon City Department of Education jointly with the Shemeth organization and the Israel Minister of Absorption,

This project is conceived as multi-stage and international. It will continue in other cities in Israel, and then it will move to Ukraine. The EAJC Deputy Secretary General stressed that “the participation young specialists in education and culture in the preparation and implementation of this project implies a bright future for 'Us and Them.'”
