On January 20th, a circumcision ceremony for Binyamin, the son of the Likud Knesset deputy, leader of the parliamentary coalition Ze'ev Elkin and his spouse Maria, took place in the Israel town Kfar Eldad.

Among those who took part in the ceremony were ministers Avigdor Lieberman, Yisrael Katz, Silvan Shalom, Yuli-Yoel Edelstein and Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin. From the EAJC, its Vice President Michael and Gabriel Miriliashvili were present at the ceremony. The EAJC Secretary General Deputy, representative of the EAJC in Israel Haim ben Yakov congratulated the parents on behalf of the Congress.

The official felicitations of the EAJC Presidium read: “We congratulate our staunch friend of many years, Ze'ev Elkin, and his wife Maria on the birth of their son Binyamin. We wish the newborn and his mother good health, and wish the happy father that his son bring him happiness throughout his life.

We are certain that Binyamin Elkin shall someday serve the interests of his country with the enthusiasm of his father.”
