Representatives of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress have taken part in a Chanukah celebration organized by the Federal Jewish National Cultural Autonomy (FJNCA)

The opening speech was made by the Head Rabbi of Russia, Deputy Chairman of the EAJC Rabbi Council Adolph Shaevich. The five Chanukah candles were lit by the Vice President and Head of the FJNCA Trustee Board Vladimir Shternfeld, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Russia Dorit Golender, Rabbi Zinoviy Kogan, EAJC PR Department Head Roman Spector, and FJNCA Director General Evgeniya Mikhaileva. At the end of the official ceremony, EAJC Secretary General congratulated the guests on behalf of the Congress.

The concert program, prepared by Vladimir Fisherman's Jewish Celebrations Agency, included acts by composer Alexander Zhurbin, satirist Ephim Smolin, and Jewish songs sung by Alla Rid and Igor Dabakrov. The evening was hosted by Evgeniy Valevich.
