Deputy Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, EAJC Representative in Israel Haim Ben Yakov has participated in a conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the State of Israel. The conference was organized by the Netania Academic College jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Israel.

Among those who participated in the conference were the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel Bolat Nurgaliyev, Knesset Deputy Faina Kirshenbaum, as well as many scholars who study regional and two-sided policy, economists, and public figures.

As was noted at the conference, Israel and Kazakhstan are a commendable example of cooperation between states, cultures, and civilizations. Over these twenty years, commercial trade between the two countries rose to 3 billion dollars. Israel and Kazakhstan are now connected by many humanitarian and cultural initiatives. Many speakers also noted that the growth tendency of mutually beneficial cooperation reflects the optimism of both sides towards this connection.

The participants of the conference held an in-depth discussion on the state and perspectives of cooperation between the two states, as well as on a wide number of issues concerning improving two-way cooperation.
