The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress expresses its unconditional support of the compulsory military actions of Israel, the aim of which is to put an end to the constant terroristic attacks by Hamas against peaceful civilians of the Jewish state.

The EAJC stands together with the government and people of the Jewish state and expresses its solidarity with the residents of Israel's south territories, which are currently under rocket fire from the Gaza sector. The majority of EAJC community members have relatives, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances in Israel. Many of these people live in constant readiness for terroristic attacks. We are truly hopeful that the decisive actions of the Israel Defense Forces will neutralize this difficult situation, and that the terroristic infrastructure will be damaged.

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress vigorously condemns any attempts at political speculation that defend or justify the terrorists, whomever these attempts may be made by. There can be no justification for terror against civilians.

All responsibility for this new escalation of violence rests upon the shoulders of the Hamas terrorists' leaders. The EAJC hopes that they will feel the full measure of the consequences of the situation which they have provoked.

We wish to the people and government of the Jewish state consistency and fortitude in their battle against terror, this enemy of global stability.
