Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Deputy Secretary Genera Haim Ben Yakov has participated in the 2nd Festival of Ukrainian Culture in Israel, which has taken in place in Rehovot, in a hall of the Weizmann Institute of Science.

The organizers of the Festival – the Association of Ukrainian Immigrants (Chairman – David Levin), which is one of the most active Israeli communities. The Association develops cultural contacts with Ukraine and provides real social support to its members. Over 500 thousand Israelis have immigrated from Ukraine.

The festival was held with support of the Israeli Ministry of Culture, EAJC Vice President Gabriel Mirilashvili, Inter-Community Union of Immigrants from the Former USSR “Block Center,” the Rehovot Town Hall, and with the aid of the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel.
Performers from Ukraine and Israel alike participated in the Festival. It was a true festivity of culture and art.
