                  19.07.2012

It is with great pain and anger that the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has learned of the cruel terroristic attack in Burgas.

According to preliminary information that the Congress possesses, six Israeli tourists and one Bulgarian, the driver of the bus, are dead as the result of an explosion in the airport of the Bulgarian resort. The preliminary hypothesis of the investigation is that the explosive device was activated by a suicide bomber, who also perished. There were 47 people in the bus, 28 of whom were hospitalized. There are also children among the casualties.

According to the information given by Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, Iran and Hizbolla are behind the terroristic attack.
The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress grieves for the victims and gives deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victims of this horrifying terroristic attack. The EAJC prays for a fast recovery of all victims.

The EAJC stands together with the people and government of Israel and supports the consistent battle of the Jewish state with international terrorism.

The EAJC calls for the global community to unequivocally condemn barbaric terroristic attacks of representatives of the Jewish state. The EAJC hopes that the organizators and masterminds of the terroristic attacks will be found and brought to justice.
