Address of the President of the State of Israel to the Participants of the EAJC General Assembly in Jerusalem
19.06.2012 Dear friends!
It is a great pleasure for me to greet you at the session of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress General Assembly. The EAJC has gathered together representatives of Diaspora communities from 25 European and Asian countries, and I am happy that you are meeting in Jerusalem, the city which is a symbol of the unity and history of the Jewish people.
In our turbulent times, I would like to note with a special satisfaction that your session sees the safety of Israel and the Jewish world in their opposition to global terror to be of great importance. I have no doubt that your joint efforts will bring fruit.
I would like to thank Vadim Shulman, who has come to lead the Congress, for his exceptional efforts, and to wish you all fruitful and successful work.
