EAJC Moscow Office Visited by WJC Delegation

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) has hosted a meeting between the EAJC Secretary General, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities (VAAD) Russia Michael Chlenov and the World Jewish Congress (WJC) Secretary General Sam Grundwerg. PR Department Head Roman Spector and Director of the EAJC Moscow Office Natalia Schmidt also participated in the meeting.

Michael Chlenov gave a short report on the current status of the Jewish community of Russia and on the main directions of EAJC activity. In turn, Dan Diker informed the EAJC representatives of the priorities in current WJC activity. Both sides have once more confirmed their intent to widen and deepen the cooperation between the EAJC and the WJC.

At the end of the meeting, Dan Diker presented Michael Chlenov with a certificate confirming that the Federation of Jewish Communities (VAAD) – one of the founders of the EAJC – is an official member of the World Jewish Congress and represents the Jewish community of Russia.
