                  Mourning Ceremony in Yerevan

                  On April 19th, the Jewish Community of Armenia held a memorial ceremony for the victims of the Holocaust. The ceremony was held near a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust and Genocide.

                  Among those who gathered near the memorial were Jewish community members and representatives of the Armenian administration, including the Head of the Department on National Minorities and Religions of the Armenian Republic Vartan Astsatyan and a representative of the Presidential Administration of the Armenian Republic Nara Gulyan.

                  Chairman of the Jewish Community of Armenia, EAJC General Council member Rimma Varjyapetyan opened the memorial ceremony, and the Head Rabbi of Armenia Gersh Meyr Burstein lit the memorial candles and read a prayer in memory of the innocent victims.
