                  EAJC General Council Member Reads Lecture in Kyiv

                  On March 21, Euro-Asian Jewish Congress General Council member, Director of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies, Dr. Anatoliy Podolsky participated in the Polit.Ua Public Lecture Prokect, and spoke at the Kyiv House of Scientists on the moral dilemma of crime and abidance by the law.

                  The lecture of the famous scholar, teacher, and social activist was titled “Jewish History and the Holocaust: In Search of Responsibility for Memory and the Past,” and was dedicated to the 70 years since the infamous Wannsee Conference. The scholar used the material of the Holocaust to examine such important and difficult questions as the duty of the law-abiding citizen in context of crimes sanctioned by the state.

                  The lecture provoked a lively reaction and a long discussion among famous scholars and journalists.
