The Moscow Estrada theater has held the opening night of the rock opera “Sulamith – Forever!”, which is an international anti-terroristic project by People's Artists of Russia Mihail Gluz (music) and Mark Rozovsky (libretto). It was presented by the Open Arts Festival “Cherry Forest,” the Solomon Mihoels International Cultural Center, and the International Foundation for the Support of Domestic Culture “Unity.” The artists are an international group, including participants from Russia, Israel, and the USA.

The story of the Biblical Sulamith is depicted in the play as happening in modern Israel. The young Sulamith becomes a victim of a terroristic attack, and is saved by the doctor Absalom, who awakens love in her soul, and then the heroine aids him in hardship. The story unfolds against a backdrop of documentary photos of terroristic attacks in Russia, the USA, Israel, and the European countries.

As Roman Spector, EAJC PR Department head notes, “Now, when terrorism has become one of the main global programs, it is very important not only to oppose this evil at all turns, but to show that terrorists will not be able to frighten us, to bring us to our knees. And this Gluz and Rozovsky's rock opera seems to be a worthy contribution in countering terrorism at the level of ideas.”
