One of the veterans of the Independent Jewish Movement in the USSR, Vladimir Mushinsky, has visited the Moscow office of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress. Vladimir Mushinsky now lives in Israel. He came into the Jewish underground in the middle of the 1970's. He actively organized samizdat activity, was at the forefront of organizing the first Jewish libraries and amateur museums. Upon leaving for Israel, the activist of the Jewish movement played a significant role in the development of public diplomacy by creating cultural and social connections between the Jewish state and Russia.

At the EAJC office, Vladimir Mushinsky met with his former colleagues from the Jewish underground, familiarized himself with the organized archive of the Jewish movement and the public library, which was based in part on materials collected by him.
