A delegation of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress leadership, headed by EAJC President Alexander Mashkevich, is participating in the 3rd Presidential Conference "Facing Tomorrow," which is taking place in Jerusalem under the aegis of the President of the State of Israel Shimon Peres. The EAJC leader has traditionally become one of the sponsors of the Conference.

The Presidential Congress gathers in the capital of Israel former and acting heads of state, diplomats, representatives of the big business, Jewish leaders, and important cultural figures from different countries.

Alexander Mashkevich noted: "It is symbolic that politicians, economists, representatives of business and culture from dozens of countries have gathered in Jerusalem to find answers to the most important questions and challenges that stand before humanity today, for Jerusalem is a city holy to millions of very different people. It is important that such a conferrence is gathering in Israel. This is an answer to the attempts at delegitimizing the Jewish state, and a sign of respect for this country, that tries to find a smart and honorable solution to the difficult problems for a stable future."
