Alexander Mashkevich to Leave Post of EAJC President

                  22.06.2011

On the 20th of June, 2011, at the Jerusalem meeting of the EAJC Presidium, Alexander Mashkevich announced his intent to leave the post of the organization's President in the nearest time. Alexander Mashkevich deems it necessary to concentrate on developing business. The fact that Alexander Mashkevich is leaving his current post does not mean that he is removing himself from “the Jewish street” itself. He plans to continue to implement large-scale charity projects and humanitarian programs as part of the family fund that he has created, and through other institutions which he is a donor to.

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress continues its work and implementation of main projects and programs in the ordinary course.

The Presidium of the Congress is currently holding consultations with candidates for the presidency.
