EAJC General Council Chairman Visits Chernovtsy
19.04.2011 Chairman of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) General Council Josef Zisels has come to Chernovtsy with a working visit, where he met with representatives of the community council and leading sponsors of the Museum of History and Culture of Bukovina Jewry. The EAJC General Council Chairman also visited the building of the synagogue under construction and met with the representatives of the local intelligentsia.
The EAJC together with the Chernovtsy Jewish Community Cultural Fund, VAAD Ukraine and the Research Center of History and Culture of Eastern European Jewry support the project of the Museum from the moment of its creation in 2008. Right now the historic and art funds of the Museum are being formed.
