The Secretary General of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Professor Michael Chlenov has taken part in the latest session of the Trustee Council of the Jewish Agency For Israel (JAFI), which took place at the end of February in Israel. A reform program for the Agency, created by the team of Agency head Natan Sharansky, was presented at the meeting.

The Session voted to close a number of large JAFI divisions – aliyah, education, and settler activity. Instead, divisions for particular projects will be created, including a new division for Russian-speaking Jewry worldwide.
