                  XVIII International Jewish Studies Conference has taken place in Moscow on February 1-3, with the support of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC).

                  XVIII International Jewish Studies Conference has taken place in Moscow on February 1-3, with the support of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC). It is one of the central academic events of the year in post-Soviet Jewish Studies. This conference yearly gathers hundreds of scholars from Russia, CIS countries, the Baltic countries, USA, and Israel. The Conference was organized by the Center for University Teaching of Jewish Civilization "Sefer," which is a part of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, and whose director is EAJC General Council Member, Dr. Victoria Mochalova.

                  The Chairman of the "Sefer" Board of Academics, EAJC Secretary General, Professor Michael Chlenov spoke at the opening of the conference with a salutation.
