The Euro Asian Jewish Congress President (EAJC) Alexander Mashkevich has made a working visit to Chisinau.

The EAJC leader met with the Acting President of the Republic of Moldova, Parliament Chairman Marian Lupu, and the First Vice Speaker of Parliament Vladimir Plahotniuc. The parties discussed the general situation in the republic, the conclusion of the recent parliamentary elections, Jewish life in Moldova. In particular, the idea to build a new synagogue in Chisinau was brought up.

EAJC Vice President, President of the Jewish Congress of Moldova Emmanuel Greenshpun also participated in the meeting.
