The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) has sent a letter of condolences to the President of the State of Israel Shimon Peres on the passing of his wife, Sonya Peres. The letter reads as follows:

 

"Dear Mr. President, the leaders and workers of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress would like to give our condolences on the passing of your wife, lady Sonya Peres.

 

Our hearts and thoughts are with you and your family on this difficult day. We wish you strength, much-needed in such difficult time. We ask the Almighty to send consolation to you, your children, and all who knew and loved Sonya."
