The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress President Alexander Mashkevich has received many congratulatory letters on the account of him being elected an Acting Fellow of the Russian Academy of Social Sciences. In particular, the letter from one of the leaders of the Jewish community of Austalia, Jeremy Jones, reads: "I have been watching your activities for a number of years now, and I was not surprised by the unanimous vote. The social research that you enact and support is an extremely important contribution to the life of society."
