EAJC Presents Diploma to Righteous Gentile

The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) sent their salutations to Righteous Gentile Taisiya Lukashenko for her 95th anniversary, and presented her with a diploma “For courage and nobility during the years of World War II.”
The jubilee celebration gathered over 250 people in the Smolensk restaurant “Seven-forty.” The diploma was presented on behalf of the EAJC by the President of the Russian Righteous Gentile Club Nikolai Dorozhinsky. He also presented the highest EAJC award – the “For Merits” medal – to the irreplaceable Chairman of the Smolensk Oblast Jewish Community Victor Gitlin, who organized the celebration for the Righteous Gentile.
