On the 18th of October, a tri-sided meeting took place in Moscow, involving the leaders of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC), "Project Kesher," an international women's organization which is part of the Congress, and the Jewish National Fund of Russia. The meeting saw discussion of promising plans of cooperation, and a closer engagement in projects, the upkeep of which is common to all three organizations. These programs include the development of tolerance, support of education, and bringing new participants into Jewish education. It was decided to continue having such meetings to develop joint plans and coordinate activity. As one of the participants of the meeting noted, "In the familiar situation of disjointment among Jewish community structures, the aspiration to combine efforts and possibilities certainly looks promising and begets optimism."
