                  EAJC President Gives Torah Scroll to Tel-Aviv Synagogue

                  On September 2, 2010, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) President Alexander Mashkevich gave a Torah scroll the Tel-Aviv synagogue "Beit Moshe," which has recently opened after a renovation.
                  The gift in EAJC's name was made in memory of the deceased President of the World Congress of Georgian Jews Moshe ben Gabriele Mirilashvili, whose name the synagogue bears. His sons, Michael and Gabriel Mirilashvili, took part in the ceremony of introducing the scroll.
                  Today, Gabriel Mirilashvili leads the World Congress of Georgian Jews, which is an is an integral part of the EAJC. Gabriel Mirilashvili is also an EAJC Vice President.
