                  Reception in Honor of 62nd Anniversary of Israel Took Place in Moscow

                  Leaders of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) were invited to the reception honoring the 62nd anniversary of the State of Israel, organized by the embassy of Israel in Moscow.
                  This year traditional reception took place in the “Ritz-Carlton” hotel. The guest list included leaders of Jewish organizations in Russia, rabbis, well-known politicians, businessmen, journalists and politologists, as well as famous scientists and culture figures. Among them were the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council of Russia Mikhail Margelov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aleksandr Saltanov, Chief Rabbis of Russia Adolf Shayevitch (CJROAR) and Berl Lazar (FJCR), President of the Russian Jewish Congress (RJС) Yuri Kanner, People's Artists of Russia Mark Rozovski and Mikhail Gluz, Chairman of the Board of “Vimm-Bill-Dann” company and the Vice President of EAJC David Yakobashvili, and many others.

                   

                  As the Executive President of EAJC Yuri Raskin said, “this reception is not just an opportunity to see a lot of nice and familiar faces, or to meet with people one more time to discuss important issues, it is also an opportunity to show our solidarity with the Jewish state, which is today a target of many unfair attacks from various directions”
