New EAJC Report on Anti-Semitism Published
11.12.2009 The sixth annual Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) report on anti-Semitism in countries of the Eurasian and Pacific regions “Anti-Semitism in Australia and Eurasia - 2008/2009” has been published in Kiev. This report was published both in Russian and English, and was edited by Vyacheslav Likhachev, a member of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress General Council.
The authors of the report are leading experts in anti-Semitism from different countries, among whom are Yakov Basin, Jeremy Jones, Vyacheslav Likhachev, Semen Charny.
The report includes sections on displays of anti-Semitism in Australia, Belarus, Moldova, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, and countries of Central Asia and the Southern Caucasus region. The report opens with a special section by Vyacheslav Likhachev and Semen Charny titled “Anti-Israeli Actions and Statements in Post-Soviet Space During the Cast Lead Operation.”
