                  Celebratory Gathering of Jews – Veterans of the Great Patriotic War

                  The delegation of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) took place in a celebratory gathering of Jews who are veterans of the Great Patriotic War, which took place in Moscow, and was attached to Victory Day.
                  After the ceremony of bringing in the military banners, the veterans were read the address of the EAJC President Alexander Mashkevich. In his address, the leader of the Congress congratulated the veterans and noticed the special participation of the Jews in World War II. He also underscored the role of Jewish veterans in preserving a truthful memory of the victims and heroes of the great battle to free the world of Fascism.
                  In his address, Alexander Mashkevich assured the leadership of the veteran Jewish organizations that the EAJC will continue to support the work to print a multi-volume "Book of Memory."
