We are genuinely pleased and proud of the fact that this renowned and indispensable organization of such a high level was headed by our former compatriot, active participant of the refuseniks movement, a talented leader and public figure.
Alexander Shmukler began his Jewish life in our kitchens in Moscow, which long served as public receptions for the Independent Jewish movement in the former Soviet Union.
Today we wish Alexander Borisovich great success in his new position. We are confident that his experience and decent position will benefit the entire Jewish community.
