                  US Congressmen on the Jewish-Muslim Meeting.

                  A group of US Congressmen led by the Helsinki Commission Chairman Alsy Hastings representing both Democrats and Republicans arrived to the capital of Kazakhstan Astana to participate in the OSCE session.
                  On the invitation of the Chief Rabbi of Kazakhstan and Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) Council of Rabbis Chairman Yeshaya Cohen the congressmen visited the largest synagogue in Central Asia "Beit Rachel", named after the EAJC President Alexander Machkevitch's mother.
                  In the synagogue there was held a meeting of rabbis and imams, who arrived from different cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The dialogue was conducted in the presence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the USA Erlan Idrisov, US Congress PR Director Layl Mamo, US Ambassy in Kazakhstan member Brian Wokely, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Kazakhstan Ran Ishai.
                  Greeting inter-confessional dialogue of this format Machkevitch said to the journalists: "We have done and we will do everything to strengthen humanitarian infrastructure of the countries, where our Congress works, to facilitate political understanding and economic integration in the modern world."
