Visit of President EAJC in Japan.

Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) President Alexander Machkevitch has made a trip to Japan. After contacts to his business partners Machkevitch has lead telephone conversations with the head of the Japan Jewish community, a member of EAJC General Council Daniel Turk, who was on a visit in the USA.
D.Turk has congratulated A.Machkevitch on the award "The Torch of Freedom", which was handed over to EAJC President by the American National Conference for Soviet Jews.
In Tokyo Machkevitch has visited a place of a new communal center and a synagogue, which is under reconstruction, and has declared, that is necessary to finish all repair work before the Jewish New year - Rosh a-Shana - it is EAJC mutual task.
